Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators

The Georgia State Board of Nursing Home Administrators consists of 13 members who are appointed by the Governor of Georgia consisting of a licensed medical doctor, a licensed registered nurse, an educator with a graduate degree specializing in gerontology, three public members at large, a hospital administrator, and six members, at least one of whom shall represent nonproprietary nursing homes, who are licensed nursing home administrators in this state. There are 2 remaining members, designated as "Ex-Officio" members, consisting of the commissioner of human resources and the commissioner of community health, or their designees. The Board generally meets on a quarterly basis.

 IMPORTANT: PRECEPTOR AND TRAINING SITE RE-APPROVALS (Renewals): A paper re-approval/renewal form is mailed out to all active Preceptor and Training Site's. You cannot renew these two approvals online.
