Partnering with the Investor Protection Trust, the Secretary of State is making available the helpful and handy "Financial Field Manual: The Personal Finance Guide for Military Families."

This free financial resource is designed to help service members and their loved ones understand how to maximize personal finance opportunities and avoid financial hazards. 

The manual includes comprehensive information on a range of critical issues, such as need-to-know changes to the military retirement system, how to recognize financial fraud, and what financial steps to take before and after your service.
