Donna Lowry, Host, GPB's Lawmakers

Award wining journalist with a passion for story telling, Donna Lowry spent nearly 30 years at WXIA-TV, 11Alive News, the NBC affiliate where she created the acclaimed Class Act and Class Notes segments allowing her to honor hundreds of metro Atlanta teachers while giving her a unique view of education in action. Most recently, she served as chief communications officer for Fulton County Schools. She also worked as director of communications for the Cobb County School District. Both managerial positions allowed her to continue spotlighting innovative, creative and exceptional news in education. Her work has garnered her seven Emmys and three Gabriel Awards. She has also won three national Gabriel Awards from that Catholic Press Association as well as prestigious honors from the National Association of Black Journalists, Atlanta Association of Black Journalists, Georgia Associated Press, Society of Professional Journalists, Georgia Association of Educators (GAE) and the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE).
Cait Howerton, Lead Financial Planner, Facet Wealth

Cait Howerton, MBA, AFC®, CFP® is a Lead Financial Planner, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) Professional, and an Accredited Financial Counselor®. Cait believes that all people should have access to equitable, objective, and conflict-free financial advice; it is her personal mission to make sure that financial planning is for all, not just for the few. In 2019, Cait was named a Financial Planning Association Diversity Scholar and received the 2050 Trail Blazers Scholarship for her commitment to diversity within the financial planning field. Cait is a former member of the FPA of Georgia Diversity Committee, host of the FPA PridePlanners Knowledge Circle, and member of The CFP Board Women’s Initiative Council. She is an LGBTQ+, Financial, and Social Advocate, frequent podcast guest, and Student Loan Expert. Cait is originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas, but now resides in the Greater Atlanta area with her fiancé, golden retriever, and two cats. In her free time, she hikes, gardens, and spends time with loved ones. Dr. Juanita Warren is a human capital investor who fell in love with general ledgers and accounting as a teenager. Determined to teach people how to manage their money, Juanita has capitalized on her degrees and Accredited Financial Counselor designation by pursuing certifications in Financial Therapy and Financial Social Work. Since 1998, Dr. Warren has facilitated awareness, education, and training regarding the personal, professional, and fiscal strengths, needs, challenges, and opportunities of various demographics. Dedicated to enhancing the lives of others through education and empowerment, Juanita enjoys journeying alongside others as a champion, cheerleader, and confidante.
Alex Wilson, Lead Financial Planner, Facet Wealth

Alex Wilson is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional, a BEHAVIORAL FINANCIAL ADVISOR™ who is passionate about helping others define their true values and goals, and adapt their finances to create alignment, regardless of their net worth. Her unique career path includes experience in wealth management at Raymond James, launching two financial coaching businesses, working in the FinTech space at Atlanta-based start-up SmartPath where she focused on providing Financial Wellness as an employer benefit, and currently as a Lead Financial Planner at Facet Wealth where she serves Main Street America. Alex is an Atlanta native; born and raised in Lilburn. She graduated from Georgia State University, receiving a Finance BBA. Alex served as the 2020 NexGen Director for the Financial Planning Association of Georgia, and mentors new Financial Planners as they navigate their career and begin working towards becoming a CFP® professional.
