Applicants must be a survivor of domestic violence, stalking, human trafficking, sexual assault, or other eligible individuals whose safety may be compromised by public disclosure of their residential address.
Applicants must attest of their need for the program (with the penalty of perjury) through a statement.
Co-applicants can be listed on the application if they reside with the eligible applicant.
Applicants must be a resident of Georgia.
How To Apply
Individuals must complete the application form, complete with a sworn statement, with the penalty of perjury, of need for the program. Hard copies are available at the Secretary of State’s Office.
Participants are eligible to use Advocate Assistants to aid them with completing their applications. Certified Advocate Assistants are located across Georgia
Once an applicant is approved, they will be notified by Safe at Home and will receive an enrollment packet and Safe at Home ID card.
It is the participant's responsibility to contact any state and local public agencies they will encounter to begin masking their address. The Secretary of State’s Office will not contact agencies on behalf of the participant.
