New process for Forester applications
The Georgia State Board of Registration for Foresters will no longer approve applicants for the exams. To Register for the exam, go to the Society of American Forester (SAF) at https://bit.ly/SAF_StateLicensure to “apply” for the exam(s). Simply “enroll” for “State Licensure – Georgia” and pay for the two-part exam. Candidates who have already passed the Certified Forester exam for state licensure or SAF certification purposes will only need to pay for the state specific exam.
Upon receipt of payment, SAF will pre-register you for the respective exam(s). You will then be able to schedule your exam(s) within the 12-month testing window at the time, date, and available location.
