Raffensperger Conducting Investigation into Fulton County Poll Worker

December 9th, 2025

Atlanta - Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is conducting a full-scale investigation after a Fulton County poll worker allegedly scanned multiple ballots during the December 2 runoff election.

"Georgia is the best state for elections because we work around the clock to keep our elections secure and fair. That's why investigators have been deployed to Fulton County to gather evidence and conduct a full investigation into the December 2 incident," said Raffensperger. "Georgia’s system is designed to catch this exact behavior and we look forward to seeking prosecution of this poll worker to the fullest extent of the law.”

The incident happened at the Dobbs Elementary School polling location.

“I want to commend Secretary of State law enforcement and the Fulton County Police Department for jumping on this issue. Their investigation is still ongoing. But these allegations are a serious breach of the public trust placed in poll officials,” said Raffensperger. “I’m calling on the investigation to be completed quickly and for any violations of law to be prosecuted swiftly.”
