Secretary Raffensperger Announces First Georgia Businesses Against Trafficking Training
Atlanta – Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is pleased to announce the first in-person Georgia Businesses Against Trafficking (GBAT) training will take place on May 12 in Atlanta.
“As Atlanta prepares to host the World Cup, it is important our businesses know the signs of human trafficking,” said Secretary Raffensperger. “I am proud to work with our GBAT partners to battle this evil industry and show that human trafficking is not welcome in Georgia.”
The half-day training will take place from 10 AM through 2 PM and feature trainings from GBAT partners, Wellspring Living and Street Grace, as well as the Atlanta Police Department.
While the training is geared towards businesses, the general public is welcome to attend the free training.
“I encourage any interested business to attend this important training, so we can put an end to the scourge of human trafficking in Georgia,” said Raffensperger.
Interested parties can register for the event here.
