Secretary Raffensperger Launches GABBY Chatbot to Make Agency Information Faster and Easier to Access

Atlanta – Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger introduced a new, intuitive chatbot that gives Georgians fast, convenient access to information on the Secretary of State’s website.

GABBY, short for Georgia’s Automated Bot, Built for You, lets Georgians easily access information on the Secretary of State’s website. The new feature will cut down on time Georgians spend searching multiple pages on the website or calling into the agency’s call center.

“Georgians shouldn’t have to spend their time searching through a government website or waiting on the phone to get a simple question answered,” said Secretary Raffensperger. “GABBY puts information at Georgians’ fingertips and is another step toward making government more accessible, efficient, and responsive to the people we serve.”

The launch of GABBY is part of Secretary Raffensperger’s ongoing effort to modernize the Secretary of State’s Office, streamline operations, and use technology to make government more accessible to Georgians.

The chatbot uses only information from the Secretary of State’s website, ensuring it provides accurate information to users.
