Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger Hosts She Leads Webinar: “The Juggling Act: Managing Competing Financial Priorities."

June 14th, 2021

(Atlanta) - Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is announcing that She Leads will be hosting its 11th event, “The Juggling Act: Managing Competing Financial Priorities." This free webinar will take place on Thursday, June 24 at 6 pm. Registration is open to all Georgians.

Many women have to juggle several competing priorities, such as raising kids or caring for parents and adult children. At the same time, these women are trying to have rich life experiences, build side businesses, and invest for the future. Doing all of this at the same time is often not only exhausting, but it can also be difficult to manage financially.

The panelists for the next She Leads event will be discussing how to optimally manage your cash flow, leverage debt, use insurance, and invest your money to help reach short, medium, and long-term goals.

“I am happy to give Georgians guidance on how to balance the competing financial priorities in their lives,” said Raffensperger. “These She Leads panels provide important tools to empower the people of Georgia to take charge of their financial futures.”

The event will be moderated by Donna Lowry. Speakers for this free webinar include Partner and Wealth Advisor at Greenwood Wealth Management Shardea Ages, CFP®; Board Member for the Financial Planning Association of Georgia Serina Shyu, AIF®, CFP®; and President of GRID 202 Partners Kamila Elliott, MBA, CFP®.

She Leads is a women’s financial empowerment seminar series hosted by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger as part of his multi-faceted financial literacy platform and is administered through the Securities and Charities Division in partnership with Investor Protection Trust. These free webinars feature industry leaders who discuss resources that can help increase attendees’ knowledge about money, their relationship to money, and financial issues and strategies for growing their wealth.

The office of the Secretary of State invites all Georgians to attend this free and informational event.
