Support Small Businesses on Small Business Saturday

November 27th, 2021

(ATLANTA) – Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is encouraging Georgians to support small businesses and spend locally as part of Small Business Saturday. The day after Black Friday, commonly referred to as Small Business Saturday, is one of the ways that individuals can support members of their community while getting the things they need for the holidays.

“I encourage Georgians to support the small business owners in their communities on Small Business Saturday,” said Raffensperger. “As a small business owner, I know how crucial community support is to small business success.”

Georgia leads the nation in creating an environment that enables small business owners to thrive. In addition to being one of the friendliest states for small business owners, Georgia was named the #1 state to do business in for the eighth consecutive year. Fostering and encouraging an entrepreneurial spirit among small business owners and consumers in our state provides over 700,000 jobs to Georgia citizens and helps the economies of our communities thrive despite the hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic.
