Occupational Therapy Compact Commission Notice of Proposed Rulemaking
Pursuant to Section 10 of the Occupational Therapy Licensure Compact, the Commission and its members are required to post a notice at least thirty (30) days in advance of a meeting at which rule amendments will be considered and voted upon by the Commission.
OT Compact Commission shall hold a public hearing on the proposed rules or rule amendments if a hearing is requested by:
1. At least twenty‐five (25) persons;
2. A state or federal governmental subdivision or agency; or
3. An association having at least twenty‐five (25) members.
If one of the three standards above are met, the Commission will post a Notice of Hearing on the proposed rules to be held at a public meeting. Any such notices will posted on this webpage and include: the publication date, summary of proposed rule or rule amendments, text of the proposed rule or rule amendment, meeting date, time and location, deadline to submit comments, and a contact for further information.

There is one Commission rule to be considered at this time. It is "Draft OTCC Rule on FBI CBC” and it is posted on the OTCC Rulemaking Page. The public comment period is from May 1 – May 30, 2024. Please submit comments according the instructions on that page by 4:00p.m. CST on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
