The Georgia Secretary of State established the Georgia Businesses Against Trafficking (GBAT) program in 2025 to address and eradicate human trafficking. This initiative focuses on raising awareness through collaborative efforts with businesses. These partnerships extend to participating businesses education and training on what human trafficking is and how to identify it.

  • Human Trafficking – Freedom First

Human trafficking is one of the most heinous crimes on Earth. Right now, traffickers are robbing a staggering 25 million people of their freedom and basic human dignity. We must band together and build momentum to defeat human trafficking.

  • Labor Trafficking

Labor trafficking is the exploitation of an individual for financial gain. It involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to compel a person to provide labor or services against their will. A victim of labor trafficking is not free to make their own basic life choices, such as where and when to work or where to live.
