How To Establish A CE Broker Account

Please follow these simple step-by-step instructions to establish your account:

Go to https://www.cebroker.com and click "Account Options."

Select "Georgia" for this state and register for the account of your choosing. You can register for the No Cost, Basic Limited Access Account with just your license number. The Basic Account will allow you to report continuing education activities, see your current Compliance Status, and search for courses. You may opt to use CE Broker's paid Concierge and Professional Account services, but those services are voluntary and not required by this Board.

Once you have created your account and logged into the system, click "Report CE" and locate the option that is most applicable to what you are recording. You will need to answer a few questions and then attach the documentation that the Board requires. If you are using the mobile application on your phone to submit your documentation into the system, you may take a picture of your documentation and upload it via your phone.

YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT FOR THE COURSES YOU LIST OR RECORD IF YOU DO NOT LOAD THE SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS WHICH REPRESENT YOUR PARTICIPATION AND COMPLETION OF THE COURSE.

To avoid any delays or potential disciplinary action based on noncompliance with the requirements, do not wait until the last minute to register for your account and/or become familiar with the new continuing education requirements outlined in Board Rule 345-4-.02.

If you have any questions call the CE Broker Support Center M-F 8am - 8pm Eastern Time at 1-877-434-6323.

You may also visit https://www.cebroker.com to engage in an online chat with a representative and learn more about the registration process.

Continuing Education Courses Not Accepted By The Board

Please be aware that a continuing education (CE) course that is offered by a NCBTMB Approved Provider does not guarantee Board approval. All acceptable CE for Georgia licensees must also fall within the scope of practice of massage as defined in the Georgia Massage Therapy Practice Act (Title 43 Chapter 24A). When selecting continuing education courses, it is important to review the O.C.G.A. §§ 43-24A-3(8-9) and 43-24A-19(a)(5-8) and Board Rule 345-4-.02 to ensure that you are taking courses which meet the Board's criteria.

Other examples of courses that do not meet the definition of massage therapy in the state of Georgia includes any courses on:

  • Animal Massage
  • Aromatherapy
  • CPR
  • Light Therapy
  • Sound Therapy
  • Yoga

As a result, courses on the aforementioned topics will not be acceptable to meet CE requirements.

As questions concerning new course titles and topics arise, the Board will perform due diligence in reviewing the course information as it relates to the statute and include the names or topics of any course which would not be accepted.
