Active-Renewal Pending Status

- Renewal applications that were submitted on before the expiration date AND included all required information for renewal will be in a status of “Active-Renewal Pending” until reviewed by the Board. Your license will still show the current expiration date until the license has been updated.
- “Active-Renewal Pending” status is not considered lapsed, inactive or invalid, per O.C.G.A. §50-13-18(b).
- You can still practice if your license is in the “Active-Renewal Pending” status.
- Check the SOS website often for license status updates. If your license cannot be renewed, you will be notified.
