NOTICE :: FOR PROFESSIONS REQUIRING FBI FINGERPRINT BACKGROUND CHECKS

The G.B.I. has chosen Fieldprint as the new vendor to administer the GAPS fingerprint program.

The new agreement goes into effect on May 1, 2023.

If you have already registered with Gemalto and been approved for fingerprinting,
you must be fingerprinted no later than 7:00 p.m. on Friday April 28^th.

If your fingerprints are not collected by that day and time,
you will be required to reregister for fingerprinting with Fieldprint.

Continuous Testing Now Available

The Georgia Construction Industry Licensing Board and PSI are pleased to announce that Continuous Testing is now available, effective 10/17/2022. Continuous testing greatly reduces the time for exam-approved applicants to obtain an exam appointment. The Board will send a list of applicants who are approved to sit for an exam to PSI, and PSI will import the information into its system. PSI will then email each exam candidate a confirmation and instructions on how to schedule their exam appointment.
