Exam Information
Candidates for the following licenses must meet the education, experience, and coursework requirements in Board Rule 750-3-.04 before taking the exam. Failure to meet the requirements before the exam is taken will result in denial of the application for certification by the Board. The applicant will be required to meet the requirements and retake the exam. Be sure you have met the requirements for taking the appropriate exam before signing up for the exam.
- Water Operator Class I
- Water Operator Class II
- Wastewater Operator Class I
- Wastewater Operator Class II
Candidates for the following licenses may take the exam before experience requirement is met in Board Rule 750-3-.04. However, the applicant shall not apply for a license until they have completed the prerequisite experience in the actual system operation. Failure to meet the requirements will result in denial of the application for certification by the Board. Be sure you have met all requirements before applying.
- Water Operator Class III
- Water Operator Class IV
- Water Distribution System Operator
- Water Laboratory Analyst
- Wastewater Operator Class III
- Wastewater Operator Class IV
- Wastewater System Collection Operator
- Wastewater Laboratory Analyst
- Wastewater Industrial Operator
Your eligibility to take the examination is valid for one year (365 calendar days) and will expire at that time. If you fail to schedule an appointment for this examination within the one-year period, you will forfeit the application and all fees paid to take the examination. A complete application and examination fee are required to reapply for the examination
