She Leads is a women’s financial empowerment seminar series hosted by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger as part of his multi-faceted financial literacy platform and is administered through the Securities and Charities Division.
About She Leads

Launched in 2019, She Leads was the first program of its kind for the State of Georgia hosted by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger as part of his financial literacy platform.
She Leads offers an innovative format for disseminating free personal and business financial resources, enhancing networks, and providing insight, even to those who previously lacked that access. In-person seminars were hosted in Atlanta, Tifton, and Columbus.
In 2020, She Leads launched its online platform, going virtual in consideration of COVID-19. The free live stream webinars were able to reach larger audiences, provide the same quality information, and have interactive audience participation with polls and Q&A sessions

She Leads brings together leaders from the financial sector, representing the government and private sectors (including businesses owned by women), other institutions, and local communities to engage and collaborate with one another.
She Leads features Georgia speakers, panelists, and session facilitators, interactive exercises, and facilitated group discussions.
Partners
Initial funding for She Leads GA was provided in partnership with the Investor Protection Trust (IPT). Funding through grants was provided by IPT, a non-profit organization that supports the organizations and innovative programs it identifies as aligned with its focus areas of investor education and financial literacy, for programs in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
